New upgrades, new opportunities
With the recent programming upgrade to my site, it is my understanding that I will be able to add a variety of new features and looks. Evidently, I will also be able to ad advertising to it!!! Woohoo!
But as I do that, I have also been hoarding plans for other features and sections of the site.
I want to add a user-contributed recipe section, a “Free4U” page where folks can list things they want to give away, maybe an i-Reporter photo posting page and more.
What else should I consider?
I can’t promise I’ll be able to include every idea, because some might not fit what I’m trying to accomplish or others won’t be able to be created in an efficient, effective way, but I am interested in what you all think.
I do see Twitter taking off with my readers – even though some blog folks out there do not like Twitter.
New media will continue to evolve and I want to continue to help it along. I can only do that with your help. Let me know what you think.
Now, if you could just charge this is a joke a dollar for every post you would be rich.

I like the recipe section myself . That would be a good thing . We could all shair our recipes and I have some good ones as you do 2 . I know Dan has a thing in the paper about that sometimes but it would be good to do it on here . Im sure we all could enjoy this if ODB
could do it for the ones that cook alot .

I don’t know if this is a good idea, but I wonder if a section where advice can be posted for high schoolers on what careers are good to consider, how to handle finances, etc.
Maybe an additional section for kids in general on why it’s a good idea to study hard and keep a balance between sports and academics, don’t worry about mean comments from other kids, things like that.
I know that no one over the age of 22 knows anything and all the advice is outdated (according to those under 18), but maybe one or two kids would take some advice to heart.
