Sebelius heading to DC

Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius will be leaving her post to head to Washington, DC, to be part of President Obama’s cabinet as Secretary of Health & Human Services.
This means Lt. Governor Mark Parkinson, formerly a Republican, will become Kansas’ next governor.

Our prayers have been answered!!!
Her last name may be Sebelius but she is no Sebelius.
Shane
Amen, however what damage can she now do in DC
Formerly a Republican? What is he now? Just curious.
He is now a Democrat. I call it switching in search of power or a switch of convenience. He called it “his party wasn’t what he thought it was anymore” or something like that.
Its called a moderate is search of power. Thats exactly right. Alot like McCain.
I see your little comment on twitter about newt and Rush, wasn’t Newt the speaker of the house at one point and what was it that had everyone up in arms against him? I guess in the back of my head when I see him I think “crook.” Am I wrong?
He was speaker from 1995-99 and he helped take power away from the Democrats in the House for the first time in 40 years. Republican Revolution.
I think he is a great thinker and can probably help transform the party once again.
You were probably a young person in high school at the time, so you probably heard the crook reference from a teacher… and aren’t they in the bag for the Democrat party anyway?
Just kidding. I shouldn’t say that because most newspaper publishers would also be “in the bag” for the Dems.
Realistically, Rush is probably too polarizing to be on a presidential ticket anyway, and Newt, despite his qualifications, is probably too white and old to win a nomination. My personal prediction is we won’t see another older white man as president for a long time. Call it the Obama effect.
I’m betting on a minority male like La. governor Bobby Jindal or a woman.
Wow. Newt and Rush? Now we want the hypocrites running the country?
Jindal was pretty bad on his rebuttal the other night in my opinion. He really spoke poorly and talked down to the audience.
I dont think Kathleen’s gonna be missed all that much, as far as I am concerned she’s done nothing for Kansas…a quote that I heard on a radio station Monday morning…..don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya, Kathleen!
Yeah but the fact that she is now incharge of our nations largest spending budget, health care. O-no-no-no!!!
Hang of boys and girls, we are going for a ride!!!!
have they even started paying out income tax refunds again yet?
I think the better questions is will they.
