Linn Lutheran Bell Choir performance

Posted by Backroadsnews on May 4, 2009 in Uncategorized |

The Linn Lutheran Bell Choir, made up of LL students in sixth through eighth grade, performed “Abide with me” during the Lutheran Laymans League spring rally at St. John Lutheran Church, Palmer.

The group has been performing for a couple years now under the direction of Linn Lutheran principal Neal Kurtz and has traveled to a few local churches to perform during Sunday services.

The group just returned Sunday evening from a trip to Concordia University, Seward, Neb., to watch the Concordia Bell Choir perform in concert. The LL students were also given a special performance by an organist on the new (huge) pipe organ in the music hall there.

I’ve also included a performance of the Concordia Handbell Choir since they were pretty awesome.
