Palmer gazebo garden

Posted by Backroadsnews on May 6, 2009 in Uncategorized |

The gazebo garden in downtown Palmer is looking fantastic these days. I think this is a good example of a beautification project that can really spruce up the look of a small town downtown, rather than having to look at an empty lot or a dilapidated building.

Similar projects have been done in Clyde and Linn on lots that previously had vacant buildings that were past renovationable status. (I don’t think renovationable is a word, but I like to make up words.)

The Girl Scouts who put this project together did a fine job and I believe the Bank of Palmer is maintaining the property. I’d like to see more projects like this in the county.

That looks nice . Something like that would look good in the old movie theater lot.
