Things are slow

Sorry folks. We took a quick trip to Minnesota for Memorial Day weekend to visit with family, so I’ve been offline and out of touch. Now I’m playing catchup with the newspaper, so if there is anything you all want to talk about, give me some suggestions for new posts.
Here’s a topic……
Why is it that only local newspapers will cover something like a national buy Made in the USA day? And they only cover it through editorials. I have organized a buy Made in the USA day for June 20, 2009 and can’t get any media coverage on it at all. It is being spread by word of mouth through facebook and various other web sites by we the people. I watched a few youtube videos of various news anchors spouting off about, “we need to start buying our own stuff,” yet they won’t jump on board with this day. What gives?!
Just a simple topic. What you do over the holiday weekend.
How about something about the kids from the county that made it to the state track meet in Wichita
