Words can’t describe…

Posted by Backroadsnews on Jun 27, 2009 in Uncategorized

I’m willing to bet that if Hanover’s fireworks display isn’t the best in Kansas, it has to be in the top five or less easily. Maybe Wichita or Overland Park could top it… maybe.
I’ve been to Manhattan’s a few years back and it downright sucked compared to Hanover’s.

Every local summer festival has its top moments and its own unique feel, in my opinion. Some of [...]

Any more results, boys or girls? Just post who won games over the last week and thanks to those who already posted results.

Break-in

Posted by Backroadsnews on Jun 15, 2009 in Uncategorized

The Hometown Cafe  and the convenience store in Barnes were both broken into last night.
I also heard that two inmates escaped from the Marshall County Jail in Marysville. Evidently road blocks were set up in Marshall County.
Don’t know if law enforcement was able to apprehend the individuals and I don’t know if the two situations [...]
