Fireworks post-fourth

I heard there have been several ongoing incidents of kids shooting fireworks at houses and cars in Linn since the Fourth of July. Anyone heard anything about this? Any damage done?
Why don’t you let us know what you have heard, I would kind of like to know what is going on since I have a couple of kids in Linn, my guess is it is kids that have not grown up in this area!!!!!!!!!!
All I know is that I heard there were kids shooting fireworks at cars and houses in Linn on an ongoing basis. That’s it. That’s why I’m asking. I’ll check with sheriff’s department on Monday or Tuesday.
SWK2- Why must they be kids who didn’t grow up around here? Are you implying those of us who grew up elsewhere are somehow flawed? (GASP) My kids grew up here, and I assure you they are/were angelic in my heart only. In reality, probably alot less than I dreamed/hoped they were.

I totally agree with you!! I don’t think that where you were raised is as important as how you were raised and even then there is no guarantee. Just like you, I like to think of my kids as perfect, but the reality is that they take after their father and not me so I think I’m in for a bumpy ride.
Also, I want to point out that it may not even be kids….trust me, I’ve had to hollar at my husband about shooting off fireworks when he’s not supposed a lot more than I’ve had to hollar at my kids.

who says u have to shoot fireworks only on the 4th of july? These rockets they are shooting off must have a mind of their own if they are going at houses and cars?..hmm..must be a phenomemon
I lovemj, I believe the law says you can only shoot fireworks during a brief time window around the 4th of July. They can only be purchased during this window also, unless you travel to another state or buy them illegally.
