So who did you pick for your Final Four and your Champion?
There are some pretty attractive potential routes to the championship for the area teams.
Just think if K-State could go all the way. What if they would take out KU in the Final Four and then beat Huggy and West Virginia in the championship!?!?
Of course, KU is ranked as the number one overall team. They could take out either K-State in the Final Four or even Syracuse, which would be a revenge game in a way from when Carmelo Anthony helped upset KU a few years back. Then it would be nice to take out Kentucky and show Wall and Cousins they picked the wrong school!
My final 4 is Kansas vs Kansas State and Kentucky vs Duke; Kansas advancing to play Duke; Kansas winning it all. I picked Old Dominion to beat Notre Dame but missed Saint Marys beating Richmond and missed Murray State beating Vanderbilt. I’ve got Georgetown over Ohio but that isn’t looking so good.
Carmelo didn’t beat KU. KU’s free throws beat KU. So did Jerry (Insert swear word of your choice) McNamera.
Well, KU had at least two years they should’ve won it all but underachieved in the tourney. I’ll never like Syracuse and I don’t like Arizona either.
And as for Syracuse, it doesn’t help that the one guy at 810 radio always talks about them since he graduated from there. He has to understand that 99.9 percent of listeners in Kansas don’t give a crap about Syracuse and the Big East.
I have KU and West Virginia matching up in both of my brackets. The other two Final Four teams are Butler and Baylor in one and Villanova and Syracuse in the other. I had K-State in the Elite Eight in both brackets.
Not KU!!!!
